The ABCs of Self Love
An Interactive Valentine’s Workshop for Moms
Friday, February 13, 2026
9:30–11:30 AM
The Mother Hood · West Los Angeles
Motherhood asks us to carry many roles at once. Over time, the self can slip quietly beneath them.
This Valentine’s Day, you’re invited to join an in-person workshop designed to help you reconnect with the woman you are beneath the roles you carry.
The ABCs of Self Love is a thoughtfully guided experience for moms seeking clarity, connection, and space to reflect. Co-facilitated by Melody Godfred, Sanam Shamtobi, and Jess Kimia, the morning blends conversation, reflection, and gentle embodied practices, without pressure to fix, optimize, or perform.
Rooted in Melody’s The ABCs of Self Love, and shaped by Back to Work(shop)’s reflective facilitation style and The Mother Hood’s maternal mental-health lens, this gathering creates room to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what already exists.
This is not just a break from the non-stop work of mothering. It’s about remembering, and practicing how to return.
Each ticket includes
A signed copy of The ABCs of Self Love
A guided, interactive workshop rooted in community
Light bites and space to arrive, settle, and connect
